ESCALATIONS IN THE COST OF PETROLEUM BASED PRODUCTS AND TRANSPORTATION COSTS have impacted nearly all orthopaedic supplies that we import and ship out. A strong Canadian dollar has made it possible to absorb many cost increases incurred since January but continued escalation makes it impossible to continue. Over the next couple of weeks we will review our costs and make price adjustments as necessary. The frequency and size of new cost increases and how they impact on various product lines makes it impossible to determine in advance what the overall impact will be but, without a doubt, the trend will be to overall higher prices -- in spite of the fact that some products will be priced lower due to sourcing and purchasing decisions. We ask for your understanding and patience as we undertake our review and implement price adjustments. As always our focus will be on delivering top quality products and value to you and your patients.

You are advised to mark the above styles as discontinued in your catalogue.

We learned today that Soletech Inc has discontinued their line of Orthopaedic and Comfort shoes. They inform us that any unfilled backorders will not be filled. As a result, we will no longer be taking orders and we are offering a special clearance price on shoes remaining in our inventory.
